Structural heart disease is often considered on the basis of history, family history of disease, an abnormal clinical examination or ECG.
Structural heart disease is confirmed with the aid of Echocardiography. Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI.
Depending on the diagnosis, management includes:
Conservative management Transcatheter intervention (e.g. ASD closure) Cardiac Surgery
